Canada Permanent Residency
Canada Permanent Residence can be obtained after staying in Canada for 1 year on continuous full time work experience.

The Permanent Resident Card expires every five years and is renewable.

A permanent resident must live in Canada for two years out of every five or risk losing that status.
Canada Citizenship
To be eligible for Canadian citizenship the applicants must have lived in Canada for at least 3 years in the past four years before applying.

The applicant must have permanent resident status in Canada to be eligble for citizenship. The applicant should also be fluent in one of the two official languages—English and French, have no criminal history and pass a citizenship test.
