Denmark Permanent Residency
Denmark Permanent Residence can be obtained after staying in Denmark for 7 years without interruption on a salaried work or self-employment.

Time spent in Denmark for study purposes is not counted towards residency requirement of Permanent Residence.

The applicants must pass a special Danish language proficiency test, not have been sentenced to over two years in prison for serious crimes and not have any overdue public debt.
Citizenship
Denmark Citizenship can be obtained after staying in Denmark for at least 9 years since Initial entry.

The applicant must have permanent resident status in Denmark to be eligble for citizenship.

The applicant must also pass a Danish language examination, a special citizenship test, be financially self-supporting, have no overdue debt to public authorities, have no criminality and be willing to renounce their current nationality.
