This visa is for highly-qualified persons such as scientists, scientific personnel and chief executive employees can take up work in Germany immediately.
The holders of this visa are eligible for a settlement (permanent) visa immediately.
Minimum annual salary for the job in Germany is to be 85,000 Euro to be eligible for this visa.

Highly Skilled (Settlement Permit)
Description:

This visa is for Self employed persons, whose activities are of exceptional economic or regional interests to Germany, must be able to invest at least 500,000 Euros into their project and create at least five work places.

If the minimum investment requirements are not then each case is examined on its own merits to determine whether there is an overriding economic or specific regional interest, to assess the impact on the economy and to check the business's financial basis.

Initial visa can be granted up to a period of 3 years.
After the business has been establisehd for three years, the holder of the visa and their family may receive unlimited residence permits. These will allow them to enter Germany any time they wish.
