Ireland Permanent Residency
Anyone who has been legally resident in Ireland for more than 5 years may apply for a residence stamp, which allows them to remain for a further 5 years.

Those who have been legally resident for more than 10 years can obtain a stamp entitling them to permission to reside indefinitely in Ireland.
Ireland Citizenship
Ireland Citizenship can be obtained after staying in Ireland for 5 years since Initial entry. The applicant must have spent the last year of this 5 year period in continual residence in Ireland.

The applicant must show that they are of good character and that they intend to reside in Ireland after naturalisation.

Time spent on a study visa does not count towards the residence requirement for Citizenship.

Processing time is between 18 to 24 months.
