Japanese Permanent Residency
Japanese Permanent Residence can be obtained after staying in Japan for for more than 10 years consecutively.

It is also required that during their stay in Japan, the person has had work permit or the status of residence for more than 5 years consecutively.

The appicant should also be of good character (Observe Japanese laws and have no criminal record) and have sufficient assets or ability to make an independent living.

Permanent residence status is indefinite and allows any employment activity.

Japanese Citizenship can be obtained after staying in Japan for at least 5 consecutive years since Initial entry.

The appicant should also be of good character (Observe Japanese laws and have no criminal record), have sufficient assets or ability to make an independent living and be willing to renounce any other nationality held .
