Yes. Visa on Arrival facility for Indians has been withdrawn from 15th August 2010. Indians now need to obtain a visa before arriving in Malaysia.

750 Rupees. An additional service charge of 335 Rupees is payable to VFS. Fees are payable in cash.

Visa Processing Time:

Malaysia Visa Processing time for applications submitted at the VFS in:
Delhi - 1 Working Day, Mumbai - 1 Working Day, Chennai - 1 Working Day, Hyderabad - 1 to 2 Working Days, Kolkata - 4 Working Days.
All processing times are excluding the day of submission of application at VFS.

Application Form
|
Completed and signed Malaysia Visa Application Form with two recent passport size photos measuring 3.5 x 4.5 cm with white background.
|
Passport
|
Original Passport along with a photocopy of the bio-date page of the passport. Passport should be valid for at least 9 months from the date of Visa Application for Malaysia. The passport should also contain at least 2 blank pages.

Status Proof
|
Employment Confirmation Letter from the applicant's employer.
If the applicant is a student then a confirmation of studies is needed from the University or College of their study. If the applicant is unemployed then the following documents are needed: Original and photocopy of Spouse's Passport, Original and photocopy of Marriage Certificate and Employment Confirmation Letter from the spouse's employer.

Transportation
|
Original and copy of confirmed return flight ticket; or printed confirmed flight itinerary from a Travel Agent; or an onward journey ticket to a third country.

Financial Means
|
Proof of Funds to cover the expenses in Malaysia to be shown either by a Bank statement or Credit Card. If bank statement is shown then it should be within the last 3 months. If Credit card is submitted then an original and a photocopy of it is required.
