Only required if visiting friends or family. A letter of invitation from the host in South Africa with a copy of the ID or their residential status in South Africa

|
Pre paid Self addressed envelope is needed when applying through post.

Postal Application:

Accepted. A Pre paid Self addressed envelope needs to be provided for the return of the passport when applying through post.

Visa Application Procedure:
|
Turn up at the embassy at the appointed hour and apply.
An e-mail address is to be provided so that the embassy can acknowledge the receipt of the application and also to enable them to inform the applicant when their application has been processed. The e-mail address must be written at the bottom of the first page of the visa application form.
Photocopies of all documents need to be produced along with the originals.
