Or by writing to the Embassy of Sweden, Visa Section, 11 Montagu Place, London W1H 2AL. The applicant should also enclose a copy of their passport, UK permit and a self-addressed stamped envelope for the appointment confirmation letter.

Completed and signed application form with 2 recent passport size photos.

|
Need to be valid for more than 3 months beyond the validity of the requested visa, with 1 blank page to affix the visa sticker. British Residence Permit must also exceed by more than 3 months the validity of the requested visa.

Accommodation
|
Confirmed hotel reservation or confirmation of an organised tour.

Transportation
|
In some cases the applicants might be asked to provide the paid tickets before issuing the visa.

Financial Means
|
A recent statement of UK current bank account, traveller's cheques or postal orders showing funds of a minimum of SEK 370 (Approximately GBP 30) per person per day to be spent in the Schengen area.

Status Proof
|
If employed: proof of current occupation in the UK, i.e. an original letter from the employer, a solicitor or the Company House.
If a student: An original letter from the applicant's school or university confirming their status and attendance.
|
Travel Insurance
|
A valid personal travel medical insurance covering up to EUR 30,000, emergency treatment by a doctor, urgent ambulance transportation and transportation back to the applicant's home country if required for medical reasons.

Letter of Invitation
|
Required only if the applicant has been invited by a private person or visiting friends and family. An original letter of invitation containing information about dates and duration of visit along with the sponsor's proof of identity (an extract from the Swedish population registration, which can be obtained from the Swedish Tax Agency, www.skatteverket.se) and evidence of accommodation.

Self addressed mail
|
A self-addressed pre-paid special delivery envelope for the return of the passport otherwise a postage fee of GBP 5 will be charged.
