The holder of this visa can stay on this permit for a maximum of 2 years after which they have to change the visa type.
A job offer and sponsorship is required from a company in Switzerland to apply for this visa.
This visa is only good for the job in the designated company and is not transferable.
A new permit may not be issued if the holder wishes to change jobs.
The granting of this visa is dependent on quota of the number of third-country nationals staying in Switzerland not been met for the year.

- Valid passport with copies of the data page.
- Curriculum vitae (chronological style).
- Labour Contract with a Company in Switzerland.
- Proof of Qualification and Experience Certificates.

The spouse of the visa holder will not have the right to work in Switzerland. They will have to apply for a separate work permit in order to work.
