|
Two completed and signed application form with 2 recent passport size photos.

|
Need to be valid for more than 3 months beyond the validity of the requested visa, with 1 blank page to affix the visa sticker. British Residence Permit must also exceed by more than 3 months the validity of the requested visa.

Accommodation
|
Confirmed hotel booking covering all your stay in the Schengen countries.
|
Transportation
|
Confirmation of airline, rail or bus ticket. If driving then ferry confirmation, registration document, proof of legal ownership of vehicle and insurance papers are required.

Financial Means
|
Recent full bank statement covering the last three months, sent to and showing the applicant's home address.
|
Status Proof
|
Recent letter of employment, addressed to the Spanish Consulate General (contract of employment not accepted). If self employed, a letter from one of the following: solicitor, accountant, bank manager or Local Chamber of Commerce. If working for a family: letter of employment, employer's passport and recent bank statement. If a student, recent letter from school or University on letter headed paper confirming attendance (a letter of enrolment is not acceptable).

Travel Insurance
|
Proof of travel insurance to cover the intended stay in the Schengen area.

Letter of Invitation
|
Required only if the applicant has been invited by a private person or visiting friends and family. An official letter of invitation issued by the Police in Spain, a copy of their ID or passport copy and a utility bill bearing their address.

Postal Application:
|
Postal applications not accepted.

Visa Application Procedure:
|
Copies of all supporting documents are to be provided.

Visa Collection Procedure:
|
The applicants must collect their visa within two months of being notified that it has been granted or if the applicant desires the passport to be posted back then a self-addressed Special Delivery envelope needs to be provided during the application submission.

|
General Visa Information:
|
Applications from non-UK residents (applicants on UK tourist/business or C visa) will not be accepted.
Visas are not issued on the same day of application.
If the applicant has just entered the UK it is unlikely that a visa will be issued even though an appointment has been given.
If the UK permit is about to expire visa will not be granted a visa, unless the applicant has renewed this before attending the appointment.
